Saturday I made breakfast, and after showering/dressing I went to the ATM, gas station, pharmacy, and CVS. I should have been halfway to New Orleans by now. I was going to stay with Lori and Jeremy and we were gonna go to Super Sunday tomorrow. Every muscle in my body from the hips down still hurts (although it's fading), but I had a great time in New Orleans. I haven't been to Muses since before Covid and it was as much fun as I remembered. I left for New Orleans from work on Friday and got there about a quarter past 8:00. Lori and Jeremy are staying at a shotgun house in Bywater this month; the owner spends part of the year in Boston, leaving New Orleans after Carnival and returning in the autumn. I was rummaging through craft stuff the other day when I came across that stash of old photos of New Orleans that one of my cousins had sent me last year. Or was it earlier this year? Time is a flat circle. I had planned to use them for collage bases, then sort of forgot about them, and anyway I did this last night.

My aunt (my mother's younger sister) and her husband have been staying in New Orleans for a couple of months. My aunt has lupus and I guess wasn't loving the weather in Seattle, although this is the same aunt who went to Antarctica in December, so... I mean I know it was summer there, but still.
